Project Brief Introduction
Unirep Social Taiwan is a decentralized, privacy-preserving social platform funded by the Ethereum Foundation, PSE Team. Built on the Unirep protocol and Semaphore, it enables users to interact anonymously while maintaining a reputation system secured by zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs). As the UI/UX Designer and User Researcher, I focused on designing an intuitive onboarding experience and seamless interactions for both Web2 and Web3 users.
Project Brief Introduction
Unirep Social Taiwan is an experimental fully anonymous decentralized social platform built on ZK proof technology and the Unirep Protocol’s reputation system. It aims to provide a secure, decentralized space for anonymous interactions while incorporating self-governance mechanisms within Web3 communities. As Web3 adoption is still in its early stages, most users remain unfamiliar with its mechanisms and workflows. Additionally, fully anonymous decentralized communities may face governance challenges, raising concerns about self-regulation and moderation.
UX Research & Design Process
This UX Research & Design Process follows the Double Diamond framework, combining qualitative insights and iterative design to ensure user-centered and data-driven solutions. From discovery to validation, each phase builds on user needs and feedback to optimize platform usability and interaction.

UI Design System & Components
Establishing a consistent UI system with color palette, component behaviors, and visual elements for a seamless cross-platform experience. It improves clarity in wallet authentication, feedback in on-chain actions, and overall comfort for both Web2 and Web3 users.
